Adventure Sunday, round 3: NC Arboretum

This past Sunday I checked an item off my Asheville Adventure Bucket List and Lindsay and I ventured out to the NC Arboretum for the afternoon. The weather was wonderful and the plants beautiful and the conversation excellent. Overall it was a win of an afternoon.

The lady at the front desk convinced us to hike out to the azalea garden. I asked "Don't azaleas bloom in the spring? Are any blooming?" "Oh yes," assured she, "The big bloom is in April but there are some that bloom all summer"

So we hiked about 15 miles and found no azaleas in bloom. It was still a good day.
